Hello,

I was wondering if there are any other people who applied for their k1 in December 2023, I am hoping we can inform each other of our processes, I was also wondering if the estimate approval here on visa journey is accurate. :)

They speeded up the process. I wasn't surprised, bc track my visa now told me exactly my position and when to reach front of the line. And it was exact the time they said when I got approved.  They even sent me an email before USCIS  lol.

On April 19, 2024, we sent a request for additional evidence for your Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e). The request for evidence explains what we need from you. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires. Please follow the instructions in the request for evidence.

They are processing them quickly, unfortunately my response does not sound good.

When you send it to the USCIS you usually hear back from them soon.

Don't be dismayed by an RFE!  Those with an RFE statistically, I've heard, get approved more on average than those without, provided they actually advance to RFER (reply in time with the correction).  It's usually some additional documentation needed and adds just a bit more time to the case.  You'll be RFER and one step closer in no time. ❤️ check out the RFE master list on the K1 thread, pinned messages for information on how to proceed.  You got this!

They are merely requesting we send another document.
We sent the divorce papers, but not the certificate. They needed both.
So that is an easy request to answer!
