Hello I was wondering how long does it usually take for the l-129f to be approved? Does it usually depend on the country that the fiancé is from?

Petition approval is generally not affected by beneficiarys country.  Approval times fluctuate all the time, right now probably in the range of 12 to 15 months.  You can go to the USCIS website and lookup what they are indicating

However, visa interview and approval is significantly affected by location

About 6 months at current rates if application is to be filed today. Right not applications filed 8-9 months ago are getting approved.

just to be clear, this is USCIS stage and is same for all beneficeries. After this is NVC (one month) then embassy which varies greatly from weeks to months.

So once accepted at the USCIS it moves through over near 6 months before the NVC? After at the NVC things move a little faster?

Once at the USCIS(my/our phase), but before the NVC, anything one should be doing? We plan to meet again in March. I will write a list of things needed for form 160, medical, and interview, I realize some may require a recent time stamp.

Yes, I’ll look at a ‘timeline’ again, just asking.

yup, i believe phillipines is maybe 1-2 months for interview so should have VOH in under a yr as long as nothing hits a snag

As to what to do, I would find groups for Philippine beneficeries or watch guides on YT. Phillipines account for like 50% of k1 applicants so should be a lot out there
