Nancy got her SSN card in the mail!!

Nancy got her Social Security card yesterday in the mail. I think we got it in 7 days total from the time she applied for it

She may try to find a part-time job since she doesnt go out of status until October 13.

We also got our response card back in the mail, the EAD, AP, and AOS package made it to the Chicago lockbox, now the waiting begins.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think she can work, even if she has an SSN, unless she ALSO has an EAD.

Nope, she can't work unless she has an EAD (which is why I asked about the stamp). But hey, you can cross "get an SSN" off her list!

Congratulations It was a week also for Claudeth to receive hers after she applied. It took almost six weeks to get the new one for her name change.
