Hello, I’m looking for advice, please, on how to move forward with my situation. My goal is to be able to visit the USA whenever I need to as a tourist and be able to keep my USA based business running. Maybe stay in the USA for a week to take care of business matters and visit my daughters and then come back to Mexico. I don’t have any plans for moving back to the USA permanently.

I’m a citizen of Mexico and lived in the USA from 2010 until 2021. I started off on an L1A visa for 3 years and the moved to an E2 status for the rest of the stay, which I renewed every 2 years. Well on the E2 case, I never had the actual visa but the permit was extended each time.

The business is active but it is very small though. I have filed business and personal taxes each year including 2021, 2022 and 203 even though I’m not in the USA anymore.

Two of my daughters live in the USA.

Thanks for your help!

If you want to work in the US you need an E2
