Hello, unfortunately my husband's employer(a university) laid off my husband.
Our i130 is currently pending. We also sent K3 application (for a chance to speed things up). Everything is currently pending at USCIS.

My husband was making $80k a year, I'm currently employed in my home country(not making in us dollars)
My husband is laid off and looking for a job right now.

Can someone please explain how this affects our process and these questions? I appreciate it in advance, sorry for asking multiple questions.

1 - If my husband finds a job in my country, can he move here until our process is finished?
2 - What happens if he can't find a job when i130 is approved?
3 - He filed taxes last year, his income was above the limit USCIS sets, does he have to be employed at the time of NVC stage?
4- If he can't find a job fast, and USCIS approves the i130, are we denied? or should we notify USCIS about job joss now?

Thank you.

1 - If my husband finds a job in my country, can he move here until our process is finished? - Sure, if wants to move abroad. But he'll have to proof domicile in US or convince CO he plans to move back to the US when the time comes.
2 - What happens if he can't find a job when i130 is approved? - At NVC stage, he'll need to secure a joint sponsor.
3 - He filed taxes last year, his income was above the limit USCIS sets, does he have to be employed at the time of NVC stage? - Not necessarily. Again  joint sponsor will be needed.
4- If he can't find a job fast, and USCIS approves the i130, are we denied? or should we notify USCIS about job joss now? - Job loss does not mean denial. He will need a joint sponsor.

Thank you.

I agree with @nastra30, the main issue will be finding a qualified joint sponsor that is willing to fill out an I864 when the I130 hits NVC.  As to he moving to your country and finding work there while awaiting the process, apart from needing to follow applicable immigration laws in that country and the need for your husband to have a provable plan to re-establish domicile back in the US when the time comes for your visa interview, he will also need to find a joint sponsor to help complete your immigration process.

Good Luck!

Joint Sponsor is the obvious solution.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
