Is the 6 months delay by the NVC before scheduling interviews at designated consulates same for Employment based visas? I mean EB2-NIW cases?

It depends on the consulate. Some have huge queues (2 yrs + for an interview), others no backlog at all. But spousal cases are always given priority over employment based ones.

Not in Manila they have been processing employment based visa and tourist visa over spouse. Go on YouTube and listen to the head of the embassy in an interview 6 months ago .

Employment based and tourist visas are non immigrant visas and are issued by a totally different department in the Consulate from the spouse or other immigrant visas.

That may be the case but listen to the interview, he said Family based visa are taking between 6 to 9 months he mentioned speeding up the process of all other visa categories but never once did he mention speeding up family based visa , go to other chatt groups and gather information there are plenty of petitions trying to get the US Embassy in Manila to prioritize family based visa
