Hi!

I was wondering if any other January 2024 filer has an update? We filed December 31st 2023, but got our NOA1 January 10th. We’re applying from Amsterdam (so now the Frankfurt consulate). So far no updates, but did see that others that got married after us and applied after us, from the same country, already are scheduled for their interview next month. While we don’t even have our i-130 approved yet.. Don’t get me wrong, I am happy for those with a fast timeline, but it does sting a little. I apologize for the tale of woe, there are people here that have been waiting way longer than us. I was hoping any other January 2024 filer has an update?

Sending compassion and support to everyone out there waiting to be reunited with the people they love and start their new lives!

So far, we have not seen any updates from this thread. It is taking as much as 14-15months for approval to come in... So we have some days ahead of us.

January 2024 filer here, married July 2023. Will also be working with the Frankfurt embassy and also no update on the case. Seems that we’re probably looking at the usual 11+ months wait for I-130 approval.

I'm a December 2023 filer and I'm still waiting on my approval as well. Last time I checked, it's taking 15.5 months to process I-130s. My husband is a German citizen, so we will going through Frankfurt as well.

As far as cases filed after ours getting approved first, I think that it really depends on which service center ended up with your I-130 and if they have enough sense to transfer it to a more efficient service center when they get so backed up.

Potomac has mine and they are beyond slow.  Hopefully they end up transferring it. And hopefully as soon as the election is over, they speed up the processing times for I-130s.

Miracle was granted! The next day we got our i130 approval on Sept 30th! We were DQ’d at NVC on 10/31/24. Now we have at least a year wait for an interview in Cairo. 😔 Wishing everyone a speedy and easy process 🙏🏻

Gosh, that's super quick! Congrats. Hope the interview wait speeds up.

HI everyone, wanted to join this thread.

I filed for my mom's I-130 in Jan 6, 2024 and received receipt Jan 10. 2024.

Since Jan 10 2024, no update or progress made. Just says "We are actively looking into your case" status.

Anyone seen movement to your application?

When I looked at timeline last month it said 11 months to go for an update then a week later, changed to 10 months....

The timeline estimate means nothing. Don’t even pay attention to it. It is not accurate. My priority date was Jan 9th. We got approved Sept 30th. Very lucky !! & Only because we filed the K3 also for spousal. Our time estimate still said 11 months when we were approved. Most people are seeing approvals 14-16 months from their priority date. Most likely you’ll see approval within the next 3-4 months. Good luck!! 🍀
