AOS on ESTA sponsored by a recently naturalized citizen

Hello everyone, I have been trying to build the confidence to self apply for my case thanks to this website but there's a few questions:

Our situation, my husband is a recently naturalized citizen originally from France. I came to visit him on early August and despite the initial idea of visiting for three weeks as I did a couple of times, this time we decided we couldn't bear it longer and he proposed so we got married and I didn't return on the flight back.

We have been waiting to file once he became a citizen (He was a green card holder) and now that he is I would like to see if we need to file any kind of extra waiver on top of the pack that is available on this forum for AOS on ESTA since the ESTA was overstayed...

I'm from Germany

Can anyone help me, please?

So when you overstayed he was not yet a citizen?

Straightforward VWP Express case.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

When you say straightforward, do you mean that we just need to file the original pack with no further evidence or anything extra for the overstay?

Thank you so much!

Not sure what you mean by evidence, you need to answer the questions truthfully, not that it will not be obvious that you overstayed.

Thank you so much!

No need to mention the overstay specifically- it's going to be forgiven. Put together all evidence to have a strong case- that's important and all you need. I did overstay Esta, too- it was never mentioned or any problem! Good luck on your journey 🙂🍀
