CAFE RIO is my all time favorite. Used to be locally owned, but is now being franchised. However, they cook everything fresh each day and it's made to order. YUMMY!!!!!

There is also a local italian restaurant and a fabulous locally owned Greek place.

If you're ever in the Salt Lake City area, try Dask's. That's the greek place.

As for chains, we like TGI Fridays, Mimi's, and Olive Garden.

We go out to eat several times a week because it's something we both enjoy.

Our favorites:

Lee Roy Selmon's (southern/bbq)

Mellow Mushroom (pizza)

Sonny's (bbq)

Moe's (tex-mex)

Cracker Barrel and Bob Evans for breakfast

Panera Bread

((Success))

We don't go out to eat very often - my husband isn't used to it I think. And he's a good cook and doesn't mind it at all.

However, when we do eat out it's often Chinese since we both like it.

Me and Mel both enjoy cooking and entertaining at home, but we do go out to eat often. We go all out when people come over and it gets very expensive quickly.

I actually find most of the time eating out is cheaper- by the time we go out and get all the ingredients for whatever we need- it often exceeds the price of dining out.

I'm not overly picky about where we go out to eat- I enjoy simple plain food as much as I enjoy 5 star dining. We often go for sushi at a nearby place called Saki Cafe. I love Acme or Drago's for charbroiled oysters. Juans Flying Burrito is awesome!! Also Superior Grill is amazing for Mexican food. I am trying to stay away from too much junk and fatty food. Every now and then I need some Popeye's chicken though- those biscuits are so good!!
