Hello,

I applied spouse visa last year 2022 in May. And this year in May NVC has sent me the notification that they Documentarily approved my case (DS-260) and waiting to schedule my husband’s interview. It’s been 8 months since I heard anything. I submitted multiple queries but received the same update.

 

What do I do at this point? Really frustrating. 
 

attached is the response of my query submitted last month.

The Embassy schedules your interview. NVC just tells you what day and time. Email the embassy and ask when your category will be interviewed. 

 

I reached out to Embassy but they saying they haven’t received any information on our case from NVC. They keep on referring us to NVC.

That's because NVC will still have your file, it won’t be transferred to the consulate until they’re ready to schedule your interview. Nothing to do but wait I’m afraid, hopefully the backlog will drop so fingers crossed this time next year you’ll be near the front of the queue - keep an eye on the thread above for info on how it’s going.
