Green Card has not arrived and no status

So I am the petitioner and I finally brought my mom into the country back in June and it has been over 120 days and we still have not received her green card and there is no way to track it. There is no case update and, I have a USCIS account but she does not. I’m wondering if that affected anything in anyway. Is anyone else having their green card delayed or can someone assist me on what to do because we are getting desperate

Did you pay the $220 GC fee?

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

What fees?

When she crossed/ before, all you needed to pay was $220.

Whom did you pay to? How much?

What is the GC fee?

It’s essentially a fee to print out the plastic card.

You should ask your attorney for this information, after all he took your money and has all your reciepts. Give him or her a call.

Alright so I just got confirmation that the $220 was paid for. But it’s been since June with no word or update on her green card shipping!

What boxes were checked on G-28? Did you move addresses?

Can you obtain the receipt for this $220? There should have been an email from uscis.dhs.gov, containing Case ID <IOE…>. Input case id into https://egov.uscis.gov/ to track status of the GC.

She should definitely have it by now, as above you need to track it using the case status website (with the receipt number from the GC fee). See what that says.

If the status is stuck on 'fee was paid', then you need to fill in this form to get things moving and find out what's wrong - https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDCForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=ndc

It might be that she has to redo her biometrics or photo or something like that (same thing happened to my daughter, her GC never arrived and it was because her photo wasn't acceptable so had to be redone). But don't panic, her endorsement on her IV in her passport is good as a temporary GC for a year.
