Honey I made breakfast!!!!

I really don't know why he has been "making breakfast as of late". We have gone to Le Peep for breakfast, We have been to brunch at the Cheesecake Factory on Sunday etc, I mean he knows what breakfast is!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know the culinary skills of your SO so I can't fully judge the matter. Sounds like he's trying to be helpful. My husband will make tea (for him) and coffee (for me) in the morning but he doesn't consider that breakfast. We have our coffee and tea about an hour before breakfast (on the weekends). My husband doesn't really know how to cook so his making of the tea and coffee is his way of helping out.

I think I'm in agreement with the others . . . Maybe he doesn't know how to cook (or doesn't know what you would want him to cook) so he's doing what he can to help.

Does he know how to cook? My husband can cook rice and that's it! Every time he makes coffee for me or brings me hot tea I just feel it's his way of trying to do a little extra.

It's like my hubby bringing home a huge fast food breakfast the morning I started a diet. That after I had told him the night before "Tomorrow the bad eating stops 'cus I've gained too much weight since I got here".

I did apreciate the gesture though, but he ate alone, and I had plain old oatmeal.
