Fiance did not get files at all. After the sputum (2 months later), which was negative, they said they would send the envelope to the Embassy. That did happen!
For her son, he passed everything on the first round and she got his envelope right away.

 

FYI - she passed the interview and now waiting on getting the visas.

My wife failed the X-rays too, then got scheduled 2 weeks later for sputum, which finished today. They gave her a July 1st date to come back for results and immunizations, if not contacted earlier. She said about 80% of people 2 weeks earlier were flagged for sputum, it seemed.

 

Also, instead of giving the full 6 months to enter the US after 1st day of medical was only given a little over 4 months to enter.

Her son had passed the original medical, but we canceled both and will try to reschedule in about a month and a half as it gets closer, if all goes well.

Has anyone heard of someone being required to undergo medication due to failed CXR? Suggested ptb-cavitary lession? My sputum culture is still pending results; negative smear too
