I’m not sure what process you’re in. You posted in the spousal visa forum but your profile says Adjustment of status. I moved your topic to the Adjustment of Status from Work/student/tourist visas. If it’s wrong, please let me know.

I’m not a lawyer. But there is no such thing as “w2 transcript” from IRS. There is a tax return transcript on IRS website that you can download and submit to USCIS. Usually,  If you’re submitting tax return transcripts, then you do not need to send W2s. If you send tax returns (full, all pages) then W2s are required.

 

If your lawyer isn’t helping, perhaps you should fire him or her and find a different one.
