Hello I submitted my I-128F in late October and I am still waiting for any reply via mail or email. Who do I contact for updates? Thanks

did you follow the advice in the link I posted back in December? I’ll quote it here again:

This is what USCIS says in regards to receipt of NOA1. If you’ve met the criteria, you can contact the lockbox:

Thanks for the reply . I sent an email to the address lockboxsupport@uscis.dhs.gov requesting the info. I hope they will respond quickly because it has been over 6 months now. I wasn’t sure whether to email or call that number. As of now, I only have only emailed. Also, I didn’t quite understand what they meant by receipt number , but I do have the tracking number and shipment ID. It was shipped on October 9. I think it’s reasonable to expect some notice of action by now.

The receipt number is your petition case number.  It is printed on NOA1.  NOA1 is just a notice mailed to you from USCIS indicating that they received your petition.  You should have gotten than long ago.  If you have not gotten it, then you have no way of knowing your receipt number.  Not receiving the receipt notice does not necessarily mean your case is not processing normally, but I would definitely inquire using the method mentioned above.

Well I guess that’s the only asslurance I will get at this time. I keep wondering that if I had filed for the electronic notifications then I would have had an update by now. But nothing physical or electronic has been given yet, after applying in mid October. Little bit nerve wracking…

the K1 process is paper filing/  u can not file  this online

Can Form I-129F be filed online? At this time, there is no way to file Form I-129F electronically, but you can prepare the form with an online service to make sure you do it correctly. USCIS has not introduced online filing for this form. Regardless, e-file doesn't necessarily mean you get quick processing.

What you quoted has to do with G-1145 (e-notification of application/petition acceptance) with I-129f, but filing I-129f online.

did you also try to call USCIS or chat with the agent online? I would try that as well and see what happens. If all of the above doesn’t work, then it’s time to contact your congressional representative or senators office and also submit a request with CIS Ombudsman. 6 months is too long to wait for NOA1.

still the I 129f for fiancee can not be filed online and that is why there is no fee listed to file online (cheaper)

Hello,

I have a few questions about how to contact someone regarding this.  When I call the help desk number, it asks for a receipt number, which I was never given, to proceed.  So that's unavailable.

As for the live chat, that also asks for a receipt number, which again, I don't have and was never given.

I did send an email to the lockbox email address about a week ago, but how long should I give it for a reply?

Is there any other way to contact them?  Seems like I haven't been able to reach them at all given all of the methods provided here.  I am considering disputing the $535 charge with my bank as well.  What do you all make of this situation?  Thanks.

I'd give it a lot longer than a week, at least 30 days, that is the best way to contact them in your situation. Not sure why you'd dispute the charge? Your application is being processed if they've taken payment, but somehow you've just not been sent the receipt notice or it's gone astray. If you dispute the charge then you'd have to start all over again (and pay more as fees have increased since).

Finally got NOA (1)???

I finally got an NOA after 7 months or so.  They gave me a receipt number and it said " You will receive notification by mail when NVC has sent your petition to the US Embassy".  Couple of things I wanted to mention

I am visiting her country and visiting her in person, but its through the Peace Corps.  Can I finish the process by giving her the interview forms (DS-160, I-134, etc.) to her in person for her interview?

Also, how do I check for the NVC case status?  Thanks.

Is it NOA1 or NOA2? What does the case status say on USCIS?

I’m not sure but on the site it says my case was approved and gives me the case number. Which I guess is the same as the receipt number. What do I do now ? Give it to my fiancé for her Fiance interview ?

Congratulations on the petition approval.

Keep the copy safe and make a scan of it, you will need to submit it later on during adjustment of status in the US.

In a few weeks, contact NVC to find out the NVC case number. Your case will sit at NVC until consulate requests it and when the status says “Ready” on NVC CEAC website, you can proceed with scheduling the interview, etc. You do not submit anything to NVC nor do you create an account. Your case merely is strengthened waiting to be shipped to the consulate.
