As How We See Things Now

Timeline

If you will see my timeline, we received our NOA2 email notice last June 20, 2007 though we didn’t receive any hardcopy. Until last Aug 2, my fiancé received an email from USCIS that they send a hardcopy last July 17. My fiancé will check it in the post, since he was here with me in the Phils from July 15 up to Aug 2.

When we received NOA2 last June 20, my fiancé & I made a projection that our papers might arrive the NVC on June 27 & leave NVC (inform us also with the new Manila Case Number) by July 2. This is in reference of other applicants’ actual timeline.

But these dates didn’t happen nor none development happened near to these dates.

Good thing that, I & my fiancé were busy for our engagement party here in the phils. And our attention with these papers was diverted to the party planning.

Until, we received an email from NVC last July 19 with a Manila Case Number.

My fiancé & I took the opportunity of his vacation here in the Phils, so we decided to drop a visit in USEmbassy Manila last July 26. We have two objectives for that visit;

1- is to follow-up any development with our papers &, 2 – have a tour in the embassy where interviews are being held.

When we arrived there in USEmbassy, we found out that our papers are not still with them & still with NVC. Until now, we’re waiting with any feedback with NVC nor with US Embassy. Though, I’m glad seeing other applicants receiving their packet 4 lately. Meaning, they’re moving again.

Now, these are the things me & my fiancé realized with all of there delays;

During the time when most of the March fillers (like me) we’re waiting for our NOA2 & others whose waiting for the schedules, it took CSC/NVC/DOS quite sometime to released it, there was an info posted here who tried to call the USE that they cant give schedule anymore because of massive applicants. But then, news came out that there was a technical problem of printing out the NOA2.

Refer to Visa Journey News last June 29,2007 (CSC Experiencing Delays)

Even the site for Interview Schedule was also down by those dates.

Since we received an email last Aug 2 informing us of the NOA2 sent, meaning that it was by July 17 that their technical problem was resolved. That date too, we observed that there were some applicants who received development in CSC & with NVC.

By those date too…. that CSC had a problem with some Mexican issues regarding immigration issues. Somehow, this issue also created some delays on the work they’re attending to.

And to sum it up, until now we’re kinda experiencing these delays. Though the good thing is that, some applicants are receiving their packet 4s now…They’re moving though with some back logs.

For some applicants whose experiencing delays with USCIS-NVC-USEmbassy procedures, I just hope this thread will be our guide if any of us already received any development.

Keep us informed so everybody will be aware with their moves..

Waiting will not be that boring…hehehehe

hi..

ive seen your messages here in the post..im sorry to hear your delays.

i have this feeling that cases with USCIS to NVC to USEmbassy are in delays right now..

we really dont know of what they're saying to us everytime we call is the right situation..

we dont have any tool to validate their information..

so, better to check forum like this, so we can see how they move by others' development. & try to keep ourselves busy with the preparation of the documents..

goodluck to all of us,...

regards,

alex
