A check of $1070 was cashed by USCIS Chicago on 06/08/2015

Biometrics Appointment on July 1st, 2015

EAD is approved on August 10th 2015 (73 days)

Received EAD card on August 19th 2015

Sent renew EAD on April 9th 2016

Got interview notice on March 30th 2016

USCIS received on April 11th 2016

Interview Scheduled on May 3rd 2016

Approved on the spot - Handed print out approval notice.

Received 10 years GC in hand on May 7th 2016

N-400 

Filed online on 02/02/2021

NOA online on 02/02/2021

Received NOA in mail on 02/10/2021

Reuse Biometrics NOA online 02/19/2021

Finally 13 months after filing N400, I received bio appt this week. 

 

My USCIS account now says estimated wait time is 12 months. 😂

01/2016: Petition filed for my visa
02/2016: USCIS confirmed receiving our file/petition on 1st Feb.
04/2016: I-130 Approval email received from DHS towards early May, our case was approved end of April. 
03/2017: Paid AoS and IV Bill
03/2017: Sent AoS and IV Packages via mail.
04/2017: 5th day of April, NVC received package. Can take up to 11 weeks for CC according to nvc.

06/2017: 6th day of June, Case Completed - confirmed via phone

07/2017: Interviewed end of July 2017.

>> Passport with Visa received the next day of interview 

8/2017: POE via JFK


05/2020: N400 Filed

06/2021: Biometrics taken

02/2022: Interview Scheduled (Yes, after 22 months -.- )

Had my interview this morning and was approved.

 

By the time I had exited the office and was in my car, the system was already changed to "Oath Ceremony will be scheduled." Interview was delayed due to an issue during the preceding interview and was seen a hour after my scheduled time. 

 

re: Oath, the IO mentioned Houston would normally do 1 oath per month. Now there were 3 days of oaths per month and each day they would eight 20 minute ceremonies. 

H1B: Feb 2001 (London)

L1A:  Jan 2014 (London)

AOS: May 24th 2016 - June 20th 2017

N400: March 23rd 2020 - June 29th 2021

Passport: July 1st 2021 - August 30th 2021

Social Security: July 1st 2021 - October 5th 2021

Yap. Got mine same day. Nothing yet after that. Got tired of waiting. I am off for a month's vacation starting next week. First time I bought travel insurance just incase USCIS decides to schedule within my travel days. Of course, I will not think twice but reschedule my trip. I would dare not reschedule N400 because getting an interview during COVID is like searching for a needle in a haystack.

Hello Houston filers. Do you see any movements in Houston so far. I have seen some October 2020 filers already got their bio metrics appointment so hopefully they will get interviewed soon.
