Yes there was a line outside when we were leaving. I am sure they are doing these every hour. How many in a day it's hard to say. But at least they are doing these to clear some backlog. Considering the upcoming election this is very, very important. The ONLY reason I was hoping for my oath to be completed ASAP was so that I can vote this November.

Excellent. That's our prayer to long as it;s before October 1st. Well congratulations to you. Hopefully you get a break and can chill now.

Anyone have their descheduled N-400 application interview rescheduled yet?  I received notice of interview on March 10, 2020 with interview set for April 14.  On March 31, I received the deschedule letter.  I understand that the Houston field office reopened two weeks ago.  Anyone heard anything about a reschedule yet?

Thanks! Paul

Yes Henri.  I am currently a green card holder and applied for citizenship thru N-400.  I filed in September 2019.  Did my biometrics in October 2019 and am now waiting for interview.  Paul

I been following in a group on Facebook and they are up to the April 1. Haven't seen any dates after that yet They been coming along pretty fast.
Saw a notice that said they expect all rescheduling oaths to be completed by end of July.

Thank you so much, Dwheels76!  So just to make sure I understand it correctly; you are saying that people that had their interview date on/before April 1st have received a new interview date.  Is that correct?  Do you know what approximately these dates are?  Given that my old interview date was April 14, I guess I should hear something in the next two weeks if not sooner..

Do you have any idea of what the new interview dates are?  Also after an interview, can I expect an oath within a month in Houston?  What I really want to know, can I vote in November...

Lucky you ! I filed in August 2019 in Houston and have not received any interview notice yet, even before the shut down. I assume I shouldn't be too far behind you, when interviews restart.

FYI I think Dwheels is talking about Oath ceremonies and not naturalization interviews. I haven't seen any interview being rescheduled in Houston since they have reopened. I saw something in Dallas though.

Can't remember exact dates but they are scheduling 1 to 2 weeks out. I believe last date I saw was 1st week in July.

There still some March 18th Oath folk they are still trying to reschedule.

Don't know if they are calling everyone many got calls some checked there status and saw the update mo text or email notice.

We are approved April 7th.

I know I have seen even March interview approvals which never were scheduled now have dates.

They been holding oaths 40 to 60 people every hour 7am to 3pm 4 days a week to catch up.

No the April 1st date was their oath. That's the last date for oaths for Houston that was cancelled.

Houston usually has 2 osths a month that are 1500 to 5000 people. Its massive.

So they had 3 oaths to reschedule and they are up to April 1st date now and I know people approved in March that never got oath date yet have been getting oath notice. That started this week.

Congratulations to all the recent citizens.

does anyone know if the person conducting the oath was a judge?
Were there any people there with name changes on their applications?

The gentleman who did mine was not a judge, he was head of department or something other (sounded like the boss of that campus). Definitely not a law-man.

Nope. Checking my status all day everyday like a stalker.

It's for my husband hes a trucker and with these short notices they are doing it's like we are all on call.

Even my phone if it's a Houston number I answer unfortunately the telemarketers didnt stop for COVID. 😂
