Well hopefully Houston is rescheduling soon. Someone just reported they got May 15th today for San Antonio. So things are opening up.
Anyone here get anything yet?

Someone in the N-400 group on Facebook just got notice of her reschedule Oath for June 5th. March 18th was the original Oath date.

So Houston is opening up.

Praying they aren't doing 10 a day. Saw a pic on USCIS site on Facebook for an oath in Phoenix in was in parking lot. It was really cool idea there.

Mine is scheduled for June 11th, 9AM at the 810 Gears Rd. This is the same location where we appear for interviews, not the usual oat ceremony place. Just wondering if you or others are same as mine. Thanks

Congratulations. WOW Houston is really trying to get caught up. There's another Oath on June 5th. Is it at the Gears office by chance?

Great news , USCIS Preparing to Resume Public Services on June 4.
 

Naturalization Ceremonies
 

USCIS will send notices to applicants to reschedule postponed naturalization ceremonies. The ceremonies may be shorter to limit exposure to those in attendance. Instead of playing videos during naturalization ceremonies, attendees will receive a flyer with information and links directing them to the videos on the USCIS website. Under the shortened format, all legally required portions of the ceremony will take place.
 

Attendance is limited to the naturalization candidate and individuals providing assistance to disabled persons.

There's one on June 5th at Gears. Looks like this is the place for now. I wonder how many they will do a day? So date's I have seen so far for Houston is 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th. Various times for each. Alot of people to get through I am sure. So Alright Houston.

 

I'm excited maybe by End of June all cancelled Oaths will have been rescheduled then us new approvals get scheduled.

Today my USCIS account was updated to show  the oath ceremony has been scheduled. No date yet as the “notice letter” isn’t currently in the system. I’ll update y’all when it becomes available.

 

Interview date was February 18th and original ceremony was scheduled for April 1st.

 

Hope everyone’s cases start moving again.

Thanks! The ceremony is scheduled for June 17th at the 810 Gears Rd location (USCIS office).

 

Good luck to anyone waiting to hear about their ceremony date. They are moving.

My oath ceremony has been rescheduled for June 10 at 810 Gears Rd. My original date was March 18.

 

Here is a copy of the letter received in case it is useful to others who are waiting and wondering what to expect. The TLDR is no guests, wear a face mask, and reschedule penalty free if you're sick.

They probably won't start scheduling interviews until they are back in the office.
