how do you have the oath date ?? where can we check I have my interview second week in November I thought it is always in the second week

So A short summary...

 

I was scheduled for an interview last week. 

My appointment was at 1:30 pm. I reached 15 min earlier. 

Went straight to the customer service desk. Welcomed with a smile. I gave my interview notice and was told to check in with the lady in the other room and  then wait for the my turn to get interviewed. 

 

I took my wife with me just in case if they wanted to conduct my combo interview. However, after 3 hours of wait I number was called. I went to the door where i was to meet the IO. 

 

The IO asked me who am i here with. I told just my wife. 

 

The IO then apologized and said that they will have to reschedule my interview to later date as They do not have my file with them. -_-

 

Yea Right!!!!... Well Then i left and then went back in.. as the online system confirm that my file was transferred. And when I even called USCIS the same day they told me the exact same thing that my file is in Houston Office.

 

Anyhow, very disappointed with the process. Now I would be waiting for another interview letter with a new date and dont know when will that be.

The wife , she does the same day , Nov 20th..

When she got the certificate but not the letter of name change. I did ask them and the answer was 

We stamps the wrong day , and will mailing the right one ..

Dont know how many people got their name changed affecting that ..

Arrived in US on F1 Visa in Dec 2008

Graduated and started working on H1B visa in Jan 2012

On H1B visa until July 2015.

 

Immigration Journey:

Houston Office.

 

I-485 (Green Card Application):-

Married US Citizen : July 2015 

Applied for GC : Sept 2015

2 Years GC through marriage : Nov 2016

 

I-751 (ROC):-

I751 (ROC) PD : Aug 9, 2018 

Case transferred to Potomac from California : June 7, 2019

ROC Bio-metrics : July 8, 2019 

Case outside of normal processing time, opened an inquiry : Jan 13, 2020

Case transferred to Houston Office for an interview: Feb 3, 2020

Hey update your profile you still have Adjustment of Status.

 

I am a May 2019 filer still waiting. I figure about February or March May 2019 filers should be getting some attention.

 

Also trying to get INFOPASS to get the passport stamp since extension letter for I-751 is expiring Dec. 28th. Have been calling since Nov. 8th. 4 calls December is booked they getting on my nerves.
