Lawyer mailed packet on 11/28/23 which was the first day I qualified on a 90 Early Day Filing rule on 5 years only option.

12/1/23: USCIS received.

12/6/23: Being reviewed.

2/7/23: Interview scheduled.

3/21/24: Interview date.

Time is at 8:45am. How do you think it will last? This is not my preferred time as I am sleeping at that time. I guess doing a reschedule may have me look bad or not a serious

If approved. Can I do the Oath on same day? What about Passport and Voting option?

I think sacrificing a few hours of your sleep for this is not a bad thing….. I don’t think you should go for that reschedule option …

I believe at Houston office you can’t do the same day oath but asking the officer after approval can be an option

wish you good luck and please keep us updated about your interview experience

Absolutely agree. It’s just 1 day and it’s a life changing event. So couple hours less sleep should be fine.

Since you are going from Sugar Land, make sure you give yourself plenty of time considering this interview slot is in the middle of rush hour and then add another 30 minutes in the event of an accident slowing down traffic on the route to North Houston. There's nothing wrong turning up early and waiting either in the car park or inside the office waiting room...

Congratulations, you're almost done

Yeah. I’ve been there for my AOS

59/69 gets busy.

What time do you recommend I depart my home?

Ah, we live in Montgomery County, a 45-60 minute drive from downtown Houston. My wife's interview is next week in Houston. I just assumed the oath ceremony would be in Houston too.
