Jitters before my IR1 interview in Montreal in a week. What can I do to be more prepared?

Hi folks, my IR1 interview in Montreal is in a week. All of these DS5535 cases I'm hearing about are really giving me the jitters, and any delays to this already long process would really shatter us.

I have all the documents that I've checked off against a couple helpful checklists other members have posted.

Is there anything I can do to be more prepared? Are people selected for this based on their background? As in if I was going to get it I would? Can nothing I say/do can alleviate it at the interview?

Please wish me luck!

DS-5535 is given to individuals meeting any one of following criteria:

1. Education or work experience in TAL (Technology Alert List)

2. Born in MENA countries or certain Asian countries

3. Extensive travel history

4. Randomly selected by system for AP.

Wish that was true, but it is not. They ask it from many Natural born Canadians, some with zero travel history outside of the US. Even babies are getting it.
