In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

its not only the income,  CO will want to see u have researched costs of health care insurance in your state and can afford to buy it /it is also  to your advantage to show your work policy allows u to add him once u 2 r married (as life changing experience)

 

good idea for u to hit the word portal above and read posts and embassy reviews  from others going thru Ghana 

 

For your other question

 However, under Ghanaian marriage law, once a “bride price” has been paid as part of an engagement ceremony, a traditional marriage has taken place and is lawful regardless of whether it has been registered.
