This would just be judicial oath days. There are administrative oaths held at Plano 2x a month if you dont have a name change.

What is the difference between a judicial oath and an administrative oath?

Same Oath but administered either by judge ( judicial) or USCIS Officer (administrative)

Yep.  Since we relocated to SW MO, our FO is now Kansas City   and biometrics done in  STL. We each separately  travelled 7 hrs retutn trip to STL for bio and then 7 hrs return to KC for Interview and again for a separate day Oath ceremony. 🤪😳

Went for my interview yesterday and I am happy to say I passed ❤️

my oath ceremony is now scheduled for 09/20/22 since they don’t allow same day ceremony unless if your over a certain age, disabled or in the military.

either way I am happy I have a ceremony date and that the interview went super smoothly.

anyone else having their oath ceremony on the 20th?

Hearty Congrats! I'm sure it's a relief to see your immigration journey come to a close. Did the officer tell you when your oath would be or did you receive a notice later into the day after the interview.

He told me I will know in 4-6 weeks but less than 1 hr after interview I saw on my app that my oath ceremony was mailed and I checked on the USCIS website that it will be on Sept 20th 2022.

Hello Everyone!

We filed for my husband on October 25, 2021 online.

Biometric Email : December 29, 2021

Biometric Scheduled For : January 27, 2022 at San Antonio, TX (We are from Dallas and receipt notice said Dallas, so we were confused why San Antonio)

His Case Status immediately changed to 'Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS' after the biometrics.

There was no update for months after that.

Somewhere in first half of July his interview got scheduled for August 12, 2022 in Irving, TX. He successfully passed it.

Questions asked -

1. In which month do we vote?

2. Who is the Senator of your state?

3. Name 3 original colonies.

4. What does the declaration of Independence mean?

5.  How can Americans participate in their democracy?

6. He does not remember the last question.

After 2 days of his interview, his status on uscis changed to Oath Ceremony being scheduled on August 30, 2022.

Oath happened with around 650 people and he received his certificate of naturalization.

By far, this was the easiest process with uscis.

Good luck to everyone! Thanks much for all the help and guidance.

Well family was allowed but we were not able to see the ceremony, since this ceremony was at a large scale(650 people). It was specifically mentioned on the oath letter that family is NOT allowed.

His ceremony happened at Plano Event Centre and they made all family members sit in various rooms and the main ceremony happened in the hall. We could hear the ceremony but not see. The actual ceremony got over in 15 mins, overall it took around 2.5 hours.

Kinda sad cause u make this huge milestone and your family don’t get to see it to take pictures of you getting your certificate :( .
