Hey everyone, my mom does not have an ID Or Drivers License, on the passport application it says to bring a Proof Of Identity. What is she suppose to take then along with Naturalization Certificate ?

Also is there a requirement to fill the Passport application with a certain color ink?

@lobo2000Here is a link to the Proof of Identity list (if one does not have a state ID or Drivers License) You may have to click on the (+ sign) to expand and read the Primary items and Secondary items - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply/identification.html

Additionally, regarding the color of ink to be used, the instructions for DS-11 states "Please Print Legibly Using Black Ink Only"

Thank you so much!

It does states Certificate Of Naturalization as a Primary ID, so she can just use that for Proof of ID  as well.

Yes, the Naturalization Certificate is enough. It will have her photo on it.

They will take the certificate also when you submit the passport. It will be returned in a separate envelope a few days after she gets her passport.

Also might be a good idea to take some proof of address, just in case. A bank or insurance statement with her name & address on it or something similar.

Just walked out of the interview and I got approved right away although officer asked many questions about my previous marriege.

online status already changed to “Oath will be scheduled”

When can I expect to receive Oath letter?

Congratulations @MagentaLife! In the case of a few of us who were approved during the 2nd week of February, we saw  the "Oath Ceremony Notice Was Mailed" message on the USCIS Portal approx. 5 weeks from the day of the interview and the Oath Notice (to download) was visible in a day or so after the "Oath Ceremony Notice Was Mailed" message.

Thank you for your response! How long is the gap between Oath scheduled and actual Oath?

Approximately 25 days in my case. There are 3 of us from this Forum who are scheduled to take the Oath on April 9th! Counting every day 😇.

As @DallasDreamy said, it took 5 weeks for us to get the Oath letter after interview. But our process was interrupted - lost a week to the winter storm, and then USCIS gave priority to re-scheduling people whose appointments were cancelled due to winter storm. I think you might hear about your oath sooner than 5 weeks.

Once oath is scheduled, you have about 4-weeks to the actual oath ceremony. Unless you requested a name change - that needs a judge and can take a couple of months.

Good luck!

It appears in this scenario, the case could be upgraded by filing Form I-485, Application to Adjust Status, with a cover letter, a copy of your naturalization certificate and proof of filing or approval of the I-130 petition.

Take a look at:
