Does anyone know if family can attend oath ceremony at Irving location?

As stated on the Oath notice they are only allowing English/sign language interpreters or mobility assistance individuals if you have a disability, otherwise only you can attend the ceremony. COVID times...

To all who had an interview scheduled at DFO today. CIS was nice enough to let applicants and their attorneys know at 830AM that the office was closed until 9AM.

I also heard that people with appointments after 9AM were being turned away because not though staff showed up at DFO today. Check with somebody before you head out.

What an efficient agency yall! I thought Europe had slow bureaucracy!

Just finished my interview this morning. They were running about an hour behind, the office (Irving) opened late today because of the freezing rain last night.

My IO was quite friendly and chatted for a few minutes about the weather before starting the interview.

My six questions were:

1. What does the Constitution do?

2. What do we show loyalty to when we say the Pledge of Allegiance?

3. What did Martin Luther King, Jr. do?

4. What is the capital of Texas (my state)?

5. What is one responsibility that is only for United States citizens?

6. What is the highest court in the United States?

Reading Test: Who can Vote?

Writing Test: Citizens can vote.

I didn't upload our tax transcripts, only GC, Marriage Certificate and Kids Birth Certificates.

I took a big file of all sorts of documents with me to the interview, but the officer didn't ask for any of them.

At the end of it, said I passed the eligibility criteria and that I would receive the oath notice in the next 2 or 3 weeks, gave me the Form N-652 and let me out. Total about 15 mins.

Just one last step to go - hopefully around the end of March or early April.

when was your interview?

If you click on the user's timeline, it shows their history (if they entered their data)

It'd be great if you entered your data too - will help others.
