how do you check letters online, i am trying to see my interview date ,

please advice.

If you are still having problems I found this on the USCIS website about making an account at my.uscis.gov. Check # 13 on the list. It tells you how to add a paper application. Apparently from what it says, once you enter the receipt #, etc. you should be able to see the case, associated documents, notices, etc.

My N400 NOA date is Feb 28th, 2020, and my biometrics was just recently taken on Nov 30th due to COVID reschedule.

When should I expect my interview will take place? 12 months since the filing, or 12 months since the biometrics? How does USCIS recently estimate the waiting time for the interview, since filing date, or since biometrics?

I went to Dallas North office for the biometrics and I am supposed to go to the Irving office for the interview.

May I ask what was the case status before interview has been scheduled? Is it "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS" ?

Yes, that is what appeared prior to latest notification.

Same boat here. According to the timeline posted before, the oath is typically scheduled in about 2-7 days after the interview. However,  the officer told me to wait for 2-4 weeks for the oath letter.

Did your wife asked for name change. Name changes require oath administered by a federal judge and will take few weeks.

My wife attended her interview on 18-Nov in Dallas and waiting for oath date. She asked for name change.

Hi all got my interview notice in mail ,

What documents do you need to take with you for interview??

is there a document checklist ??

plz share

thank you

Last month my wife attended interview with lots of documents. Immigration officer asked only the following:

1. Interview Letter

2. Green Card

3. Passport

4. Drivers License

I would suggest to take the following as well.

1. Last 5 years tax transcripts from IRS (you can download from IRS website)

2. If you have any traffic citations or fines, proof to show you have paid the fines or any court documentation like court disposition letter.

If you are applying citizenship base don 3-year rule. they may ask additional documents.

For 5-year based, I don't think you need to take any other documents.

See this link https://my.uscis.gov/citizenship/what_to_expect

You can download the Form M-477 Document Checklist here - https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/guides/M-477.pdf

Most of the time, the interviewing officer doesn't ask anything beyond the required documents (Interview Notice, Passport, Green Card & DL). But it is always safer to carry additional supporting documentation just to prevent any unintended delays if the officer decides to look a bit into your background.

- Your employment & earnings records (tax returns, offer letters etc.)

- Your academic & professional credentials (college degrees, professional certifications etc.)

- Marriage & Birth certificates of you & your immediate family (spouse & kids)

- Documents supporting anything else about your case that might come up (for ex: previous divorce, extended stay out of the country for some reason, etc.)

Good luck.
