Our office is so backed up...I even tried to reach out to our Rep but it was more useless than an easter egg at Christmas.

I have ready given up on voting this year...smh.

Well, it was the pandemic that is causing the delay. Before the pandemic, Dallas was on 8 months end to end timeline for N400. It was 12-13 months in early 2019 so they surely expedited during 2nd half of 2019 and early 2020 but then pandemic hit and the delay kicked back in.

Alright peeps. I had the naturalization interview and same day Oath ceremony at Irving Field office last Thursday July 30th. Everything took around 3 hours. The interview was scheduled for 12.05 and it was done and approved at around 1.30 and the oath was at 2.30 pm. Quick and easy. Thank God. It was maybe 20 of us at the Oath ceremony standing at least 6 feet apart. The interview itself  took like 15 mins tops. Oh before I forget you can not apply for the passport there anymore. They give you the packet with everything in it but you’d have to go do it yourself at post office or a court

Thanks for the update. Confirms that the Dallas queue is moving with the 11-13 month estimate shown on the USCIS website. I applied in Feb-20, so guess have to wait till next year then.

Good luck with the interview. Hopefully they will have a same day Oath ceremony for you, so be prepared.

Congratulations !  That is awesome news ! My husband applied in November 2019. Hopefully he will be through with this process before the end of the year, if everything stays on track. It'll be one good thing to come from 2020 !

Good luck on your interview - let us know how it goes.

WELL.............Good News!!!  My wife had an intial interview for Naturalization on Novermber 1, 2019 which she failed.!!!  Got a second interview for April 2020 but it was canceled due to Covid 19.  Finally had second interview today and passed so we are waiting on the Naturalization ceremony date now.  Almost done!!!!  Covid 19 had really added problems to a long process but looks like we will get through it.  Wife was reluctant to work on her English and I am bilingual so we speak Spanish all the time which does not require her to work on her English skills.  That was her downfall so to all of you out there  make sure your significant other works on their English because they will thank you later.

Wife had Oath Ceremony August 21, 2020 with the notice coming in the mail the day before the ceremony date!!!!!  She said it went fast with more time spent waiting to get inside the building than taking the oath.  Things are  streamlined due to Covid 19.

Hi all - had my citizenship interview yesterday in Las Collinas. Very good experience overall. I had to wait about an hour to be called but they blocked every 2-3 seats so it was crowded but bearable. The officer was extremely pleasant. I brought printed N-400, a bunch of bills, husband's passport, photos etc. I was also stressing out that my husband couldn't come due to his job since I had 751 pending as well. She asked me all typical N 400 questions for about 10 min. Then said I am good to go. I asked her if anything is needed for my 751 and she said no. I offered her additional evidence (our taxes, bills), she took a couple pages and gave me a piece of paper saying I am recommended for approval. She didn't even need original spouse passport. Maybe my case was straightforward but I very much enjoyed how easy everything was. Now waiting for my naturalization ceremony.

Congratulations! When did you file the dual I-751 and N-400? I'm still waiting and last message I received from USCIS was that they were waiting for an open time slot.

Hello All! Had my combo interview last Thursday 9/10/20 at 8:30am. We had to wait about 45min before being called in, it started with the I-751 portion which took less than 2minutes... IO asked when did we get married, if we had children (we don't) and the asked my wife to go back to the waiting room. N-400 "interview" was just going over the form, questions (Who is the vice president? State that borders Canada? East coast ocean? I don't remember the rest), and then I was asked to write on the iPad "We have one hundred senators" everything went good, took about 15min and I was recommended for approval. N-400 case was updated the same day around 2pm to "Oath Ceremony Notice Was Mailed". No updates at all in the documents tab on my profile until this morning when I found out my oath ceremony will be next Friday 9/25. Almost over with my journey!!

My dates:

I-751: 10/19/2018

N-400: 9/7/2019
