Haven't logged in here in several months, but we just saw a letter from USCIS appear in our USPS Daily Digest e-mail. So logged into USCIS and saw that our interview is scheduled for November 13th in Irving!

Quick question please.
i never submitted my tax returns with the n400 application. Do I need to those with me for my interview. Any other unusual request they can make in an interview? I just want to me all prepared

Its not required unless you have issues with IRS that you want to disclose. But, i would take copies of them anyway.

Basically, this is how most of the interviews go. Starts with your Civic and English test, then the interviewer goes though your application with you to make sure the information in the application is correct. In this stage, you would tell them if there are any corrections you want to make to the application or if there are any changes that you want to disclose which happened after you applied for N400.  The interviewer may request additional information if there are any discrepancies in initial application details based on their investigation (This generally happens after your bio metrics).

It is straight forward and you need not worry.

Obtain tax transcripts for the last 3-5 years and have them handy. Transcripts can be obtained online. Better to have them and they don't ask for them than not to have them and they ask for them. You never know what the officer might ask for. Remember each individual's case is different. Do you owe any taxes? If you do, you need the payment plan from IRS and any proof you are making payments (i.e. IRS tax statement)

What is the average pendency from date of filing these days in Dallas?  I saw some processing times and they seem to get shorter.

I would tell you what my attorney said 1 year but they schedule me 7 months after filling so just keep in mind it is an estimate you never know when they will process you it can be longer but also can be shorter

How was your combo interview? Did your spouse go with you?

When I had a combo I went in with my spouse, ya. If your I-751 is pending you ought to bring your spouse along.
