Hello Everyone!
I filed Jan 20, 2024 thinking my case was straightforward. But it was not until after I filed. I’m not going to get into more details for now but my case will probably be DENIED. I regret even filing. I’m a green holder of 9 years. My fingerprints were reused and the wait time reduced from 7 month to 4 month est. time. I will keep you all updated.

Why not withdraw it?

Is there a danger to GC itself?

I will not get into full details for now. I will, however, post everything once I have the outcome just for the educational purposes in case someone in my situation down the road searching for answers online. Please bear with me. I promise I will post everything, every detail.

OK. Just make sure you don't lose GC for educational purposes. Sometimes withdrawing N-400 is the right thing to do. You may also want to consult with immigration attorney. If you hope USCIS approves your case, make sure it's not approved in error or by misrepresentation. Because this will put your citizenship at risk for the rest of your life.

Congrats on all the speedy interviews! Just 21 days until mine. How are you all preparing for it? I'm having my husband regularly quiz me on the civics questions. I've watched a couple of mock interviews on Youtube as well. Assuming as a native English speaker I likely won't need to study for the language portions.

How do you know what office the online application is being processed? I received the notice of reused biometrics almost as soon as I applied and an estimated processing time of 7 months. I divorced after 3 years of marriage and filed N-400 under 5 year rule.

It's processed based on where you live. Search field office by putting your ZIP code - https://egov.uscis.gov/office-locator/

Hi everyone, I submitted my N400 application on January 14th, New York City office, filling under 90 days/3 year rule.

Jan 14th 2024: Case was received and a receipt notice was sent.

However, I didn't receive biometrics letter nor notification about it, I see some people immediately receive notification about it but I haven’t .
Hopefully it will be a smooth process!

Hi There! :) I've been looking for NYC filers for weeks. A lot harder to find than I originally thought. Glad you submitted the application and are starting this journey on becoming a U.S citizen. I'm looking forward to hearing about your process with the NYC field office. My husband filed his N-400 in NYC: Oct 2023- and we are still waiting for an interview. All the best to you! :)

Working on submitting - so close! a few final questions:

1. Anyone have a cover letter asking for combo interview i could review?

2. Tax return Transcript: I cant seem to find the right URL..Anyone have it handy? We asked for those in 2022 (2021 and 2022) when we were applying in January 2023 for the 751- so it says requesting date 2022. Do I need to re request? We do need to request for 2023

3. Should we also include the 36 ext letter? (instead of just 48?) A

4. my scanner is forcing me to do one pdf side at a time (ex green card one pdf scanned for front, and a new pdf scanned for back) instead of a combined. i assume thats okay? so a unique pdf for front and back of all docs? (gc, ext letter)

1.

2. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

3. Don't know what you mean
4. You can scan it as JPG and paste both JPGs into a word doc then PDF the word doc
