My I-751 And N-400 both got approved today 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 in Chicago,IL. FYI It was a combo interview.🥳🎊
The IO was soo Nice! And friendly. He didn’t ask a lot of questions or any definitions.

Congrats! Did you know in advance that it'd be a combo interview? Meaning, did you get an interview invite for I-751 along with an interview invite for N-400?

And did you need your spouse with you for the combo interview or just yourself?

I have an interview (N-400 interview) coming up in a month and I am planning to take all evidence that I submitted for both I-751 and N-400 and I will make sure to ask about I-751 if the interviewing officer does not ask me about it. The N-400 interview invite on the Documents tab in my USCIS account has no mention of bringing my US citizen spouse to the interview and I am guessing it's the same for all N-400 interviews.

Interview scheduled for April 11, hooray! I was worried about an interview later in the year due some health issues but since it's going to be next month that won't be problem. This is the first time USCIS actually scheduled something in my favor lol

They changed mine to 4/11 too! What time is yours? Mine is 9:00AM.

Congratulations!

Do you remember what Civil questions you were asked.

I'm also in Chicago!

Nice and is your interview date scheduled for after your resident since date? I saw that the Chicago office is scheduling interviews so quickly. I applied under the 90 day early filing timeline but hoping I don't accidentally get an interview before my LPR anniversary!

I applied on 02/19/2024. My 5 year anniversary is on 05/17/2024.

Also I am using this to test myself it's really good: https://www.polytripper.com/games/english/civics-test.php?fbclid=IwAR11uShVQr1JxXullZykZ5FjlAzG2BnFZcNtEfj4BfvGHjgOLW9ECGUfr30

That's good news. Yeah I am hoping mine won't be scheduled too early. I am applying also for a name change so I hope I don't have to wait too long for an oath either! Fingers crossed

Interview is this Friday! I'm so nervous; I feel like my heart could drop out of my chest at any moment. I'm also reconsidering the name change I wrote in my application. Anyone know when it might be a good time to ask during the interview how long it might delay the oath ceremony?

The uscis officer will go through your application with you and reaffirm the name change.

I would ask them at that time if you’re unsure if you want to change your name or not
