Approved this morning, had my spouse with me at first for the ROC part. A couple of basic questions of when we started dating, marriage, honeymoon. Then the officer asked for him to leave and started to ask the civics questions, read and write. After that we went through the yes/no questions, confirmed my information and I got the N-652 with approval.

Waiting for status to change and oath scheduling now!

Maybe we will take oath together in STL :) Seems like we had the exact same experience today at the interview!

Just finished the I-751 + N-400 combo interview at the St. Louis, MO office.

Went in at 9:10 and came out at 9:31. US citizen spouse was present for the first 5 ish minutes and then it was just me later. Officer just verified all the dates and asked 6 questions and then verified my driver's license + passport + (expired) green card + SSN card. They took away my OPT EAD (was on F-1 visa before I met my spouse) and the EAD/AP combo card, lol.

They did not take any copies from me that I had printed, and didn't look at any other original documentation.

At the end they gave me a sheet of paper that said they have recommended my approval and that they will send oath ceremony appointment via USPS. Case status changed for I-751 as approved and for N-400 as oath ceremony will be mailed.

Congratulations! Did your appointment letter state that it would be a combo interview? Did they ask you to bring the EAD/AP or did you just happen to have them with you?

My interview is tomorrow, hoping it'll be similarly speedy/easy.

I’m a person with a “good luck” lol, so when I went to the interview I was prepared for “something might be happening”.
My interview was at 8:30.

There was a line outside with 15-20 people.

They allowed us in at 8:15.

Got to the waiting room by 8:30 and saw there were still people waiting to be called.

Around 8:35 they started calling people who were scheduled for 8:30. 20 minutes passed and most of the people were called in.

9:10 - 3-4 people left in the waiting room including me and noticed another group was checking in for 9:30 interviews. That’s when I thought hm I might be the last one (as always) lol.
9:45- 2 people for 8:30 including me are left and they started calling people who got there for 9:30 interview

9:55 -my fellow from 8:30 was called in and then I started worrying.

10:00 - they kept calling people for 9:30 and I decided to ask an officer if everything is ok with me I was supposed to have my interview at 8:30 and he said yes you have to wait someone will call you. Meanwhile people get called in and more than a half of the group for 9:30 was called in.

10:10 - I asked another officer and showed my interview notice with time and his eyes were surprised and he said wait a second I’m gonna ask someone he got a person for the interview inside I sat down and was laughing inside realizing my “good luck” and what happened, was it cancelled, was my file lost or something… he came back to me and said the officer is next to me and you should be called in just wait

10:15 - I was finally called in.

That’s not the end of my nerve wracking story. Civics, reading, writing - all good. Went through the application with the officer - all good until we got to my citations I had 2. Showed the court dispositions (court reduced it to stop parking violations) which states they were paid.
the officer was super nice(please forgive my Miami English accent lol)
and the officer asked me- do you have these citations tickets. I said no only the dispositions. And then she said you probably will need the police report.
and then inside of me I was like omg, here we go again, that means the decision won’t be made today and everything will be postponed until who knows when. Then she said let me ask my supervisor. When she was coming back I heard she said to him- thank you I just wanted to make sure.

Then there were issues with scheduling me for the oath because I was based on VAWA and the supervisor helped us and when the supervisor was leaving he said - relax and congratulations, it’s over! Then I finally relaxed.
Came back 2 hours later for the oath ceremony.

Finally felt relieved and realized that the journey is over a day after.

01.02.24- filled VAWA based 3y rule

01.24.24- biometrics reuse

03.01.24- interview scheduled

04.09.24- interview with the same day oath

Good luck to everyone!!

Congratulations :))

I got one interview letter for N-400 and another for I-751 that specifically said to bring spouse to the USCIS office.

They didn't ask me to bring EAD/AP but I had all my USCIS-related stuff in a folder and showed it to the officer. Just got the oath ceremony document on the accoutn and that one does say to bring EAD/AP along with other stuff.

Congratulations to all who recently passed the test !
did they asked you to explain “what is means “from the N400 form questions ? For example “ Can you explain what is non-combats services ?”, “ What does an offence mean ? “

someone I know wasn’t able to answer these types of questions during the interview.
