Just received a biometric notification. Appointment is february 1st. Estimated time dropped from 8 months to 7 :)

Great!
I believe we filed the same day and I still haven’t received the biometric appointment notification. Maybe mine comes soon.

When were your last biometrics taken?

Just submitted online my N-400 application. About 2 minutes later the status changed to Case is being actively reviewed. I wish it would be that fast for my I-751 form that is in “Case was received” since February 2023.🤪

"Case is being actively reviewed" is not much different to "Case was received". It's just a filler status for the periods of time when nothing happens.

I don't remember the exact date, but I believe it must have been in 2020 in Amsterdam :) I've never had biometrics taken in the USA so I kind of expected having to do this first :)

That's great.  Next step- INTERVIEW and citizenship!!!!  There is light at the end of the tunnel......and it isn't an oncoming train......it's freedom from USCIS.

Submitting N400 tomorrow. For the longest time I had no intention but some flying related stuff came up that made it make more sense.

Kind of annoyed why they need my spouse details like previous marriages considering I'm not using her for this.

My CR1 was originally approved back in 2009.

Finally submitted the application on 1/10 even though the draft had been sitting finished and saved for almost a year. Glad to see I'm not the only one who dragged my feet!

My husband (US citizen) and I have been married since 2016 and when I went for my removal of conditions interview in September of 2020 the officer said no less than 6 times that I should just submit my citizenship application because I was a "great candidate" for it and they had all of my documentation already. We didn't feel like spending more money so soon, so here we are.

Received the NOA almost immediately and the status changed to "case is being actively reviewed". I wish I would have also gotten a bio reuse notice but wasn't too optimistic since I've had to have them redone at every step of the process. Estimated wait time went from 8 months to 7 months within a few minutes, but for now I'm just refreshing the tracking app until something happens!

Edit: just checked the documents section of my case on the website and I *did* get a biometrics reuse notice! Amazing!

Filled out the online application and added all the PDFs for evidence, much nicer than AOS or ROC processes!

Waiting for a review and I'll be paying and filling it early next week. Looking forward to never having to do immigration paperwork ever again.

Became eligible first week January through 3 year marriage rule, ROC has been filed for a year now and hasn't gone past Case received.

Hello guys!
I applied on 01/12 for Naturalization under the 3-year rule. I am married to a USC. I received both the receipt notice and the biometrics reuse notice within one hour of submitting the online application.

I applied exactly 44 days before my 3rd anniversary as a LPR.

I have one question:

I understand that, under the early filing provision, USCIS allows us to apply within the 3 months preceding our 3-year or 5-year LPR anniversary. Along these lines, can we be invited to interview before said anniversary date, or is it usually scheduled after that date?

Your interview may be scheduled earlier than your anniversary date but your oath will happen on or after your anniversary date.

If you look at timelines on VJ it looks as if almost all interviews are scheduled 90-100 days after N400 filing - I would guess USCIS is factoring in the early filing timing accordingly.

I have logged in to start it a few times over the last 2-3 year and gave up each time. Apart from wanting to know pointless info about my spouse ex marriage she can't find the info on (and is totally irrelevant since I'm applying based on time here),

Mainly though, I got really annoyed at the trips outside the US. I do a lot of travel work travel, along with trips home, cruises etc, I was running around 40 trips over 5 years. Who on earth tracks that? Well, the Government does! Because when I renewed by global entry the TSA guy said he can pull my entry/exit right up. So why do I need to gather it and submit it. Thanks to covid, I have done way less trips over the last 5 years so at this point I was down to around 12 trips and I *think* I have correct.
