That is it, we are sending our packet for removal of conditions. I think I have everything, check, form, evidence, green card copy. Can you please tell me what do usually people forget to do? What are the things I should make sure I have? I want to make sure I didn’t forget anything.

Sign everything.  Go back and make sure you signed everything.  Then look again.  Make sure you signed where you were supposed to and your spouse signed where they were supposed to.

If you had to attach any explanations because they wouldn't fit on the form, make sure you put the identification information at the top of those pages: name and A-number.

Double-check instructions starting with page 5.  Make sure you included everything.  Print out a copy and check the items off.

Make at least one copy of everything you are submitting.  Assume USCIS loses your entire packet.  You should be able to easily re-create it.

Aside from the form itself, do not send the originals of anything.  (Or, don't send anything that you're going to have a problem with if they lose it.)  For example, I have several original copies of my U.S. birth certificate, all with stamps from the state's Department of Health, and I could request another one if I had to.  So I didn't mind sending them an original.  If you can't easily get another copy of an original document, send a copy.  (You will still bring the originals with you to the interview.)

Did you make copies of everything?

Regards,

Vicky's Mom

this is SUPER helpful!! going through what you send now as I review the packet! THANKS!!!

One thing I will add after you receive the NOA extension letter.  Make a few copies of that as well, and keep the original only for international travel.

If you have sent evidence - like a bank statement or credit card statement or a copy of a lease - make sure you send ALL the pages!  Don't just send the summary!

Good luck!
