Dose anyone challenge the results from St. Luke's??????      Can you go to another hospital and get tested???  If it comes back negative then approach st. Luke's with this information....Im in the same boat as so many others now. My lady had something on her x-ray  (so they say) .   We are waiting now 4 of the 8 weeks for the call...   I plan on contacting my government on this matter.    I believe it's a SCAM going on to long......

You woke up a thread from 9 years ago.  Next start a new thread.  To answer your question, unfortunately SLEC is gospel

I promise “your government” doesn’t make policy for hospitals in other countries.

So who sets the policy for healthcare centers that are screening visa applicants?

CDC sets the policy for immigrants. That specific link is for refugees but it’s the same for all immigrants. I’m just to lazy to find it.

I was thinking the same thing.  I guarantee you, despite what another has said, an agency of our government absolutely sets the healthcare centers policy for conducting immigration medical exams for US visas.

Not what I said at all.  We were talking about the protocols of a specific hospital, whose internal workings are not set by the US govt.  The CDC requirements for testing might be, but the minutiae of how it is done is clearly not.

I'm sure even you can see the futility of OP's wish to contact "his government" to complain about his perceived poor service at St. Lukes

Dept of State/US senator is absolutely not going to intervene because a petitioner believes St Lukes is scamming people by falsifying suspicious lesions on X-rays.

Exactly what you said. Maybe not what you meant.

Of course. Anyone with any experience in this area knows.

No one was telling him they would.

Plain and simple, they follow guidelines set by US. No petitioner is going to change anything by crying about it.

Just curious, what part of this is a scam considering SLEC doesn't charge additional for this so there's no profit motive because they earn less when this happens.

What they might be guilty of is being too cautious.

Yes the US government regulation requires this,  the medical system thair dose profit from this i know  1,800.00 hundred  US dollars im paying for.. Just wondering how hundreds of thousand imgrants can walk in and we hand them money/phones/food so on so on NO MEDICALEXAM before comeing here,   im trying to fallow the law and having to jump thrue one hoop after another........
