Hello,

My visa interview at Montreal, Canada is scheduled and I'm submitting request for the courier service and one of the questions asked in the form is "Country of Permanent Residence". I'm an Indian national currently living in Canada as a worker and has Canadian work permit. Since I'm in Canada as a legal resident, I choose Montreal as my interview location and received it as is. My question is, what should be the answer to the question "Country of Permanent Residence" asked in the interview scheduling confirmation form? Since I'm not a Canadian permanent resident, will it cause any issue in my interview location if I choose India as the answer? Thanks in advance!

It asks permanent residence, not permanent resident, correct?  It wants to send your passport with visa back to where you reside as a resident.  You reside and pay taxes in Canada presently, hence why your interview is in Canada.
