I saw some posts here mentioning they were asked about the reason for their divorce and who filed for divorce. I was the one who filed for divorce. Does it matter?

does date of separation matter? if it is before the greencard was approved?

I'm not sure. My date of separation was mentioned in the divorce decree and it was after the green card was approved
