Hi People,

thanks for stopping by and reading my post. I hope you can give me some ideas or comments about my case. I will be glad to hear it. I was thinking to send the xerox copy of my approval noticed to the NVC, coz Until now they dont have any record of my approval case in USCIS, I was approved more than 7 weeks now. :crying: Until now NVC dont have record of my case. Would that help if i send the xerox copy of my approval noticed to the NVC. Anyone from here exp. or tried that with NVC processing. I have no plans to contact my congresman or my senator as of now coz we will be just 2 months of waiting since we got our approval noticed. But its killing me knowing USCIS dont send my case to the NVC or until now NVC have no record of my case. I hope am not sound impatient here am just starting to worry bout my papers now I hope to hear comments or ideas regarding my case situation. Thanks for the help

I am not sure you can send anything to them. Sometimes your case is sent to the consulate without you hearing from them, so suddenly your fiance/e receives packet 3 at his/her home. If that's not your case, you should try contacting your congressman or just keep calling NVC to check the status of your case.

Have you also tried contacting the US embassy in the Phillipines, in case your case may have arrived there by now?

I did tried before contact the DOS, but they said they have no record of my case. I did that like 4 weeks since we got our approval noticed from USCIS. I have lawyer for my case but it seem like our lawyer doesnt help us, i dont know but i can feel that. He advise us to wait till 90 days if we still dont hear from NVC, thats the time we should start to some action

Read carefully over this page:

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/Processtim...eviceCenter=CSC

If the NVC doesn't have any record that means they just haven't received it yet. You'll need to contact CSC to find out if they forwarded your case to the NVC and if so, on what day. The CSC could be back logged and that's what is taking it so long.

The process will not go further until the NVC forwards your case to the Manila Embassy and they aren't going to that until they get the entire file from CSC, so sending them a xerox would be a waste of time. CSC holds your entire case (all paperwork) until they approve (NOA2), at that point, the entire file is mailed to the NVC who assign your case a number that you will be able to refer to once they forward your case to the Manila Embassy.

It took NVC a couple weeks to get our case after CSC approved it.

The CSC is notorious for getting back logged. There were several here, who got their approval during July and August of last year, but their cases weren't forwarded to the NVC until October (if I recall correctly). They just experienced a huge influx of AOS cases filed at the end of July to meet the deadline before the fees were increased. That would be my best guess.

In any case, the OP here needs to call the CSC and talk with someone in person. From there they need to verify if the case is still there or not. If it's not, they need to find out when it was forwarded to the NVC. In some cases, they can be stuck in Administrative Processing. 7 weeks may seem like a longer than normal time, but it's not in the scheme of things.

It sounds like the case never got the the NVC from the service center. I remember seeing a post similar to this in the past and what they did was contacted their elected official. Low and behold, the petition turned up. Good luck

Yes, I'd get right down to a local Congressperson's office and get them on it. Six weeks is too long. I suspect something has slipped through the cracks.
