I married my ex-wife in the US, we got divorced in Hungary. I have the Hungarian divorce decree in English and Hungarian. Will USCIS take issue with this? Do I have to 'register' the divorce in a US court?

Another issue is that for some odd reason the divorce decree has no signature or stamp, it is 'electronically' signed with a tag embedded in the PDF but it might not look official to a bureaucrat. Has anyone had a problem with their divorce paperwork being rejected because it didn't have a stamp or something?

1. Was this a real divorce?

2. Are you legally divorced?

3. Does the divorce decree follow visa reciprocity table?

Dont know what they have in Hungary but here we have a certicicate of Absolute divorce which is issued 90 days after the divorce date. That is what I provided. Never had to submit a divorce decree. Check out that option if they have one. "Certicicate of Absolute Divorce" See if they have this in Hungary. Its available from the court that granted the divorce.

FYI, each US State is different in how divorce decrees are handled.  "Decree Absolute" is a British term and only used in the US States that call themselves "Commonwealth", MA, KY, PA, and VA.  A US State Dept. link has already been given, which when the country is selected, tells the reader the exact acceptable document or documents, as well as how they can be obtained.

That's the source.  Randomly searching for something available in MA, would be highly counterproductive.
