Are you 100% sure the Consulate received your medical?

Did you get an additional email asking you to provide an extensive, 15 year travel history?

Administrative processing.  Any other foreign connections other than the UK?  They kept your passport.  That is a sign it might not be an extended wait.

Fiancé double checked with medical that the consulate would receive, and they did not state it was the medical causing the issue. And no email, nothing further was requested.

If he's from the UK and lived there his entire life, it's unusual to be under 221g AP.

My only guess is his name matches a person of interest, and they need to verify that he is not that person.

Yeah possible, his last name is Robinson and I know that’s super common. His first name is common as well.

He also received a Statement on his second trip to come see me in the US that denied him entry, which we did provide and explain in length at our interview. The reason was simply because he needed to pursue a K1 visa and they would not let him travel to the US under ESTA. So that’s the only other thing I can think of beside person of interest.

^ There you go.  Seems like the consulate is verifying the circumstances regarding the denial of entry.  They want to be sure that the applicant was not given a ban.

Double-check that statement given to your fiance.  Did CBP allow him to withdraw his application for admission at that time?  Or did they issue expedited removal?  Expedited removal usually comes with a 5-year ban.
