K1 visa holders who didn't get EAD stamp at the POE, beware: Infopass officer told us that we can't get the stamp *after* we're married. So, seems like if you want to work before getting GC you need to sort out EAD before the marriage.

Be ware if a K-1 applies for EAD before filing for AOS using Code (a )(6 ) the results is an EAD card the expires the same date as the I-94, consider EAD usually takes up to 90 days, so the by the time you get the card it will be expiring or have expired before they can send it out "invalid".

K-1 is best to apply for EAD with or after filing for AOS, (c )(9 ), now with the increased fee for AOS, EAD is included in that fee so is no charge.
