Congratulation for those who have been approved. Recently CSC is doing a good job. There are still many couples who are not VJ members. A lot of VJ members have been approved which mean that a lot of non VJ members have been approved also. It is good. Well, it seems that more and more folks have been approved from 120 to 130 days after their received NOA1. So, a lot of July filers should have NOA2 by the end of Dec latest.

Well its a simple fix, on the timeline data entry we stipulate "received by USCIS date" as printed on NOA-1 hardcopy/ nothing else please and highlight it. Of course there is always going to be some people who put the wrong date down, but I think if you spell it out simply and clearly it would be more accurate maybe.

I agree with the edited statement above 100% (I deleted the last sentence). I have made this very suggestion to VJ several times. As of now, they do not agree. They always respond by saying that members should not be using NOA1 dates to guage their progress and that they use the sent date to calculate the projected adjudication date. However, they continue to instruct members to enter the NOA1 notice date on their timelines.

When given the choice of using the sent date which usually preceeds the NOA1 received date by a few days and the NOA1 date that could be entered as one of 4 different dates (hardcopy received, hardcopy notice (frequently delayed), hardcopy priority or USCIS website received), I think that using the sent date for sorting bszoom's list is the lesser of two evils.

Ya, enough is enough. Untill May filers are approved, USCIS won't process June and July filers. And there are so many July filers, so they really should speed up. I have no idea how to spend this long waiting time. I have a job, but I am not a fulltime worker and I live in such a small town with nothing around. It sucks soo much.

My fiance just returned to the US. ahh sad.

The problem is that almost everybody is entering the DATE where the NOA1 was issued or received in mail. NOT the received date printed on the noa1. This is normally in most cases 2-3 days after the send date. Right now the NOA1 date in the VJ Database is useless.

By using sent date your just accepting comparing apples to oranges as a accurate measure of bananas.

Just so you know it´s not as simple as you think. There are people who never receive their NOA1 hardcopy. So they can´t be sure about their "received date" that´s printed on NOA1. For example us, we had to place a service request and after that we received NOA1 replacement in the mail 111 days after we filed...so there :P And if you send your stuff to NSC and they transfer it to CSC your received date is accepted as NSC date and CSC treats it like that so it doesn´t really matter much how long it went from NSC to CSC :P

Believe me I know how you feel. I am retired (retired young) so it very hard for me to keep my mind occupied. I can only work on my house and yard so much. Each morning when I wake up, my adrenaline is high cause I think I will get approved. When I do not get approved, I start feeling depressed. It's like when you drink to much coffee and get the jitters and then the caffeine wears off and you feel very tired. The next day this cycle starts all over again.

I am hoping all us May filers get approved soon  Good luck to you.

Ya, I understand that. I am not a May filer. I filed in the end of July, but there are tons of people who are waiting. I have no idea how they really process. It is suspicous to see if they really process packages based on the receiving dates because some folks have been approved in Sept even though they filed in mid of May. And others do not even get NOA2 even though they filed in the beginning of May. I have heard that countries matter. But, again, opinions vary. I have no idea.

I really want to quit my work and get ready to move to the US, but unless I have NOA2, I cannot do so. I need some income even though I live at my house.

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Haha!! Yeah - I would be ecstatic if I had an RFE right now - and I never thought back in July I would hear myself saying that!!!

as have I, and they won;t agree. If its so correct, how come mY received date on hardcopy is July 18th, yet VJ says adjucation date is in November? (its because I "sent/mailed" my petition on June 21st.) Sent date is worthless IMO. We need to have a BIG BOLD HIGHLIGHTED request for NOA1 as Printed on HARDCOPY ONLY! maybe even send a mass-PM to all members explaining this. Then we would possibly have a decently accurate timeline
