here's the link to the page I go to (with my customised numbers and orders, heh ;) ) - you'll see there're four now; three for the 1st, and one for today - and one of yesterday's is a June filer! not sure of any special circumstances there, but maybe it means they're almost done with May...

Actually the one June filer that was approved was a May filer. It was sent May 9th, but their NOA1 date says June 2nd..probably just another May filer who never got the original NOA1 and used the notice date. But we'll take it! Another approval means we're all one step closer to ours :)

Still the pretties.. I'll put my bid in for 28 please :energetic:

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

I posted the question here if someone can help, Many thanks

my RFE question - please help

i would recommend you answer theri questions to the best of your ability. state again you did NOT use a marriage broker. tell them how you met again. state if you ever filed for your fiance before. and explain it. then send it back

Chris

Many thanks for that, my only worry is that there is nothing circled in red as they say there is and if I send it back without all the answers they are expecting it might take even longer..........

Why do you guys keep making me be the bad guy?

Here are the facts:

I did the last CSC summary report on Sept 26th. At that time CSC had 124 open K1 petitions. At 2.71 approvals a day (19 a week) which was the CSC pace for the 7 days preceeding Sep 26, it is going to take CSC approximately 46 days to finish with May and there are still some April petitions to process also. Unfortunately they are not almost done with May.

We all need to stop focussing on NOA1 dates when comparing timelines. NOA1's are often delayed and members can enter any number of possible dates as the NOA1 date. The most accurate date to use for comparison purposes and to guage your progress is the sent date. Why? Because USCIS prioritizes based upon the date a petition is received, not the NOA1 notice date. And unless delivery was delayed, the receipt date is normally only a few days after the sent date. This is the reason that VJ uses the sent date to project the adjudication date. (If you want to test this, change the sent date on your timeline and you will see that your projected adjudication date (PAD) changes also. Change the NOA1 date and the PAD does not change.)

If anyone wants to verify what I am saying, they can ask Zoomer or Captain Ewok:

Captain,

Thanks for the change.

Please don't use NOTICE date - use RECEIVED DATE. As per USCIS - Notice date is the date they printed the notice; and is irrelivant to the process. RECEIVED DATE is the date they file your applications by.

http://www.uscis.gov/files/pressrelease/Re...Times082407.pdf

The actual received date will be honored and recorded on the receipt notice. This date will appear in the “Received Date” box on Form I-797, Notice of Action. The received date on Form I-797 is different from the “Notice Date,” which also appears on the Notice and identifies the date the receipt notice was actually generated.

....... historically the NOA and recieved date were the same in most cases. I guess people just got used to it. Only recently this year did that change and the USCIS is also trying to get back to a one or two day data entry period. I would encourage people to use the "sent date" if they want to find people at or around their timeline for filing. This will be the most accurate method as things stand now.

The "June" petition that was recently approved was submitted on May 9th. It is definitely not a June petition in the eyes of USCIS unless it was lost in the mail for a month before it was received.

Of the last 18 non RFE K1 petitions approved at CSC, the sent dates ranged from 4/28 - 5/15 with the single exception of Nora & Ryan who submitted their petition on 5/22. Of the 17 that remain, they all were submitted prior to 5/11 except 1.

Members who are being processed at CSC should be encouraged because approvals seem to be rolling out at a fairly good pace recently. However, it is still going to be a while before they are finished with May.

Sorry. :(

Bill, I was just making chat; trying to be positive; I know there's still a long way to go (and there was a deliberate 'maybe' in there to indicate the fact) :)

and you're never the bad guy for being a realist :)

I started at the top and did not see your post before I wrote mine. Sorry.

But more importantly, I did not mean to imply that anyone said I was a bad guy. What I did mean to imply is that I sometimes feel like the bad guy when I need to point out that an optimistic conclusion might not have been justified by the facts.

Thanks for your post. :)

Where did you put N/A and None? Did you put N/A to everywhere? My fiance also put N/A but, only put "none" to depend children section. Also, I wonder why you received IMBRA. Did you meet your fiance through online? I really hope that you can get NOA2 soon.

Everyone take a deep breath please. I think everyone is getting uptight with the waiting. "WE" are all in the same boat so let's not argue points or statistical data. "When we hear or receive our approval we can all be thankful To God the most for giving us this site and the people we share the same common goals with. May we all receive approval soon but we all need to relax and think of each other. I realized everyone has their opionions. Go CSC and VSC
