y'know, sometimes I wonder if there's just a big clump of VJ files all together in a box sometimes, so ALL of one morning's approvals are us, and then later on there's no one from here, so we don't see anything... I mean, I know it must average out, but that doesn't mean there can't be some major variations on a day-to-day basis ;)

Until such time as daily/weekly actual approval statistics are published by the USCIS service centers (which will never happen) it is difficult to ascertain. The sad fact (for us) is that there are many different visa applications being processed at the service center and some of them are more complicated and time consuming that ours. They would probably be more efficient if they had specialized teams that only processed certain types of applications - experts on the I-129F or I-130, etc. I think these guys hold their cards as close to their chests as they do because accountability is anathama to them. I feel for everyone that has been waiting so long, and dread the implications on my own processing timeline. The story about the rush of July petitions seems to be losing its credibility 7 months into this thing. Grrrrrrrr

And So It Begins......

I propose we set up a list of all the people who haven't updated their timelines and send them all PM's to do so  ! We should include june july and august filers in the list.

Then we would have an idea of who has been approved and if they just have neglected to update their info  .

Anyone else interested in helping? :star: ...there aren't more than 100 pms that have to go out! hahaha....if several of us do it (like 10 people) we would just have to send out 10 emails!

If we get a response great! If not we know we shouldn't consider them as part of the list :hehe: ...

just my two cents....It'll give us desperate ones something to do while we get approved  ...

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

STP are you gonna put a new list together for all of us waiting ?

I know this has been a very very slow week at CSC with only 11 Approvals, but it'd still be nice to see a new list.

Thanks

I'm sorry for interfering here. This is only my opinion so apologies to StP if I'm stepping out of line.

StP very generously put together her list to take the weight off bszoom's shoulders when he quite rightly became otherwise occupied with his SO's arrival in the US. I think it's only fair that after months of providing such a valuable service, which she has to generate manually, we give her a break so she can concentrate on her upcoming interview and moving plans.

Igor kindly put together a list for CSC filers awaiting NOA2 here >>> http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/ .

Whilst Igor too has put a huge amount of work into it, the list is generated automatically and therefore is much lower maintenance and you can check for updates automatically.

The only reason that the two lists generated differing order was due to the delays in receipting at USCIS which caused some confusion here on VJ on which date to enter in the NOA1 field. I am sure that factor is pretty much ironed out by now and therefore there is no real point in two people generating lists - unless of course they really want to.

I wish you luck in receiving your NOA2.

Very interesting ... It will be interesting to see how long it takes you to get your NOA2.
