TBone - I hope this is the case for you as well. Maybe if she got it all too soon she would have freaked... Maybe it will turn up a little later but that extra time will allow her more time to think and let things sink in... Who knows? Uh, Aly, had your papers hit in early June, you might only now be hearing your first word about them, si man.

Had I waited until later July to file, we could have been approved by October/November, sigh man.

I finally reached someone at DHL, and he has both e-mailed the DHL office down there and will attempt to call C. directly, si man. Nevertheeverhowlessly, I am still off-p*ssed at DHL.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

Also, I just looked at Aly and Debz's spreadsheet. 4 CSC July filers pending; Audrey, CBR, Sunshine girl and Thee_Rak. I'm hoping this will be your week. By rights it should be.

Also, what happened to DKM who was very active on the board at one point?

Heh - well I guess it is ok to say as I haven't seen him since I pm'd him on 20th Jan...

Him and his OH didn't make it. They had been struggling with her going out and becoming more aloof and getting on with her life and it worried him. Eventually they just didn't make it because of the long-windedness of the process... He said that he does still love her and that he hopes they can be friends and that who knows, in time things might change but for right now they are no longer together :(:cry:

I ask everyone to take a look at message #41 in this thread (which began promisingly but was closed for violations later!) -- http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...97939&st=30 -- and comment. Remember that I had brought up the idea of leaving even partial information on the system when relationships tank, in hopes of providing SOME value to others. Do we think that there ought to be some mechanism toward this?

According to the lady I spoke with from USCIS- My application was approved today. However, there is no e-mail and the USCIS doesn't show anything yet. She said that I will see something soon.

Congratulations! The type and speed of notification will differ. Check on-line tomorrow, perhaps.

I just spoke to a customer service person and they weren't much help.

what did you say in order to speak to an immigration officer?

Pleasantly yet persistently insist on speaking with an immigration officer. If the customer-disservice person objects, say, "You are required to transfer me to an immigration officer when I thus request." Repeat as necessary, and do not accept any objections. Get the customer-disservice person's name and ID number, which should compel some cooperation.

Congratulations!! I never got an email..just got a touch on 10/17 (from a phone call), a touch on Thurs. 10/18 (date on the NOA2) and got the NOA2 in the mail on Mon. 10/22. They didn't update the website until 11/1, so don't worry about an email/update, just look in your mail box! :)
