Gratzies!! CSC seems to be back on a roll again *hopes she hasn't tempted fate*

Can't believe there are a couple Sept filers in there as well - I think maybe someone has overlooked a box of July and fingers crossed they will dig it out soon!! I want to fill in more of the July spreadsheet!! Even if I *can't* freeze those stupid panes!!

No September approvals as far as I can tell. (going by sent date, not NOA1 date.)

Hmmm - maybe it is a firefox issue... maybe I should try in IE...

NOOOOO!!! Don't do it! IE Is Eviiiiiil!!!!

before anyone gets excited (or befuddled) by the fact that the waiting list has gotten shorter by a larger number than those who have received NOA2s, I finally bit the bullet and removed anyone who was still showing as going through Nebraska or Texas... no one has shown an NOA2 from those centres for MONTHS, and face it: it's simply incorrect; if people can't show the right service centre in their timeline, then they don't deserve to be on the list ;)

Thanks for the list again StP! Igor's may be less time-consuming and give instant gratification, but yours shows me higher (83 vs 90). If I concentrate really hard I think I can get CSC to go by your list.

And totally agree on the service center thing. Makes no sense to list the original service center since it has zero bearing on reality.

See what you guys think - I just posted this in the K-1 section too but would like your thoughts!!!

I've been offered a new contract in the UK up until November which is a great opportunity career wise and it's DOUBLE the pay I recieve now.

The problem is it's a contract until November and we get married in October (provided we get our visa).

Can I take the job, go to the USA for our wedding then come back to the UK and finish the contract and then depart for the US full time? I know there are rules about this but I'm not clear if they make an exceoption for things like work etc.

And no, I can't start the job and then leave in October - it's a project one would have to see out to the bitter end!!!

It's over to you guys.

No! The reason your petition is in a more favourable position on StP's list is cos you got your NOA1 before me...and a few others who got chucked in the back of a semi-truck for two months back in the summer.

*likes Igor's list*

*pokes StP's list in the eye accidentally* :innocent:

You included the $100 "processing gratuity" with your file, didn't you? ... Oh dear. You forgot to include the $100 "processing gratuity," didn't you? Tsk tsk.

LMAO!! Thanks for almost causing me to spray hot coffee through my nose. That was funny. :D

Have you booked the wedding? If not, then delay entering the US until November. You can enter the US and not use the visa (I think) but if you plan on getting married whilst you there it will have to be an unofficial ceremony since you cannot leave the US following a legal wedding until you have Advanced Parole which you file for with AOS. Leaving the US before you get AP would mean you gave up the visa process and you would then have to apply for K3.

Please correct me if I am wrong guys.

Doh! I thought a packet of biccies would suffice. I'm a cheapskate.

Luckily, I know StP will have a similar reaction if she sees that post.

Thanks Guys,

Nah I'm not gonna delay the wedding for cash and career - I'd rather be broke and happy than rich and pissed off ... Advance Parole - it makes people sound so untrustworthy!!!

Going back to ireland for Christmas will be out too then ... lol.

Well you could be there much earlier if CSC keeps up the momentum. If you're staying until October anyway - then another month might not make that much difference especially as there might be a period of time when you cannot work once you're there. The more money you have to take with you the less stress you're going to feel when you can't earn. That's just one pov tho. I prolly would bite the bullet and just go too if it were me.

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.
