Must be so frustrating being so close but not knowing what is going on...

It is sooooo hard not knowing anything at all. If I had a dollar for everytime I checked VJ and the USCIS website, I would be a very rich woman by now! :) But I have to believe the end is near!!! Hopefully they will get caught up soon and then start banging out more approvals. I hope some of you later filers won't have to wait as long for yours. :)

CHILL folks, it is what it is, forget about touches (meaningless) it will happen when it does, just concentrate on getting to know eachother, this site is way to obsessed with touches and timelines, dont stress about it as frankly there is nothing you can do about it.

Maybe you will feel different when you have reached 100 days plus and still no NOA2. This board not only provides information, it provides an escape value for those of us who are getting a little crazy from waiting.

I agree with afterforever and Jamie, I know complaining and calling probably does nothing to expediate matters. However when you get so close and then even go past when you think is the longest it will take to get the NOA2 and you still have nothing to show for all the wait you too will find yourself wanting to shout out loud to the kind people on here who feel the same and listen.

I realise your words are meant as comfort Rob & Jin, but like Jamie says, sometimes knowing other people are just as frustrated as you are, is a good thing and lets you know we are all human.

This process does however make me laugh sometimes at the banality of CSC explanations.

Keep the moans and touches coming people :jest::lol:

Rob & Jin,

I have been where you are and now I am way beyond our (hopeful NOA2 date) and now the wait is even more torture than in the beginning.

I believe the wait is worse because my LOVE and I do know each other better each day (6 trips to Colombia and 2 hours on the phone every day) thus the time appart becomes more and more difficult!

Good luck to you in your journey.

When you are way past the timeline it is impossible not to stress and wonder...I do enjoy the time I spend online with my fiance, but forgive me if after 3 years of being together and then deciding to go on this journey Id much rather get to know him more here in person than online...I also believe that if everyone that went way beyond the 6 month processing time they uscis has themselves laid out...writing to the ombudsman, congressman, senators, petitions, emailing the vice president then it wouldnt be the voice of one lone frustrated soul...it would be seen as the epidemic of lethargy on belhalf of the csc that it is!

Looking at your timeline---have you no NOA 2 yet??? Or just not an updated timeline?

I see alot of May filers at four months plus on their timelines. Could it be a reality that 5- 6 months is the new approval time? :crying: Just a thought. Not trying to make anyone more crazy.

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

You'd think if CSC has a semi sitting in the parking lot full of applications they would be pumping out approvals for applications made in April and May.

Ain't happening?????

it doesn't take a business genius to know that overloaded workforce = need for more people.

The sad thing is to the people at CSC we are all just numbers and an inconvience between coffee break and lunch. I say seperate the managers at CSC from their loved ones and tell them that visajourney forum will process their application for return at the same speed as they process ours.....that'll speed them up!!!!
