Waiting for a NOA2 from CSC for your I-129F?

mox, are those average approvals per day calculated over a 7 day period? If so, this is really dire :(

They're calculated in "real time." So this week's stats are based on the last 6 days (Monday through Saturday). There have been 6 approvals this week at CSC, hence 1/day. Tomorrow, unless there are any more approvals, that number will drop to 6/7 or 0.86.

So yeah...dire is a good way to describe it. :(

March 10, 2008 ---- Touched

March 13, 2008 ---- Touched

March 14, 2008 ---- Touched

March 20, 2008 ---- Touched ( I guess approved but no update on website or email?)

March 25, 2008 ---- Noa2 hard copy received in the mail Dated March 20, 2008

March 31, 2008 ---- NVC Received our File-- Assigned case #

April 2, 2008 ------- Package shipped to US embassy Manila

May 8-9, 2008------ Medical (approved)

May 20, 2008------- Interview (Approved)

May 29, 2008------- Visa Delivered

June 12, 2008------ Flight to USA -POE Chicago

It's hard, I know. Try to look at it like this: As long as you're within your 6 month approval timeline, it's all good. It's hard to see VSC approving filers left and right while CSC seems to have taken a permanent nap, but as it stands right now everyone except pre-July filers are still within the USCIS timeline. CSC can't keep this pace (for very small values of "pace") up forever. Eventually they're going to have to start breaking K-1's out, and when they do August and September are going to go really fast, as will October and then November. Hold on to that thought and don't let the process drive you crazy. :)

It is SO frustrating and depressing!!!!!! I actually thought about not even looking at VJ anymore cause everytime I do it just get's more frustrating seeing that CSC is NOT picking up speed and Vermont is approving ppl that have filed after we did..........

I know there's ppl that have waited MUCH longer than James and I did so far (well with the Petition being approved that is) but it seems to really get to me by now that CSC is just NOT doing their job.

I mean Christ if it would be moving and we would be moving up the list ok then,but they are much slower than a snail going backwards.

By now my poor man is getting really frustrated too,and as usual that gets me even more depressed...........

I will pray for them to pick up the speed and give us at least 25 NOA 2's a week from Monday on!!!

Let's all start asking the man upstairs for his help!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Monday is a public holiday - everyone have a happy MLK Day!!! But let's still hope for 25 NOA2s next week ... just duck to avoid that flying pig!!!!

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Well the good thing is the list of people waiting hasn't got *much* longer - we're still under 300 which can't be too bad - not long ago it was about 350 or something so :)

Moxies - you are a very sensible man - it really does suck waiting I know - I've been there as have my fellow July-ers. Many are *still* waiting - I was getting frustrated at five months but it was only a blip. Now I wish someone else had got their NOA2 in my place :(

The way I see it is we can't change anything so we just have to get on with things. I went out for lunch with one of my best friends yesterday and she asked me if we would have done anything differently (we planned our wedding a little pre-emptively and now I am not going to move until the end of June) and I said no. I feel that the waiting has made me stronger as a person and has made our relationship stronger. We've been through the highs and lows and I have developed so much. When we were seeing people who had only waited a month get approved (remember those freak approvals last year?!) I felt sorry for them. They didn't know what was coming next, they hadn't had time to really let the process sink in and... it sounds weird I know... but they didn't have time to really appreciate what this whole process is about. In some perverse way I am glad I have had to wait because it has made me appreciate the fact I am going to be allowed to stay with my man forever when I get there :)

the wait I'm fine with... the piles and heaps of forms and processes and fees and so on I could do without ;)

but on the whole, I agree with you... I can't IMAGINE taking David for granted, when we're finally together :)

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Haha - I know it will happen though ;) But I am glad we have had to wait - it's kinda make-or-break for the relationship and we seem to be doing ok :) I know everyone is different but I wonder how many people who only had a short wait had successful relationships? Or if people who waited longer didn't?

Hmmm I want to investimagate!!

Going through the stress of this process probably is a really good test of a relationship - hopefully it'll help prepare us for all the other things that life can throw at us!

STP thanks for the new list!

I also believe that having to wait to actually be together is a tset for a relationship and I also have to agree that it has made the relationship between James and me a lot stronger.

But in our case,and that's why I'm so drained right now-

he left Germany August 6th,2005 and we couldn't file for the K1 until October 2007 because his ex for some unknown reason didn't want the divorce until SHE finally had a good reason for it .And they haven't seen each other since Dec 2001.....

I don't have family nor friends left here in Germany and this recent slow down at CSC is just very frsutrating at the moment.

I wouldn't be AS frsutrated if things were moving (like 20+ approvals a week) but since it went down to 6 a week it gets to me.

I AM glad we have been through all of this because it did make us stronger and shows just how much we both care and love each other,but like I said ,right now I'm just exhausted and James isn't feeling any better sitting at our 1700 sqf house all by himself.........Thank God during the week he hardly has ANY time to think or even miss me since he works 60 hours a week but it gets to him right now and hearing him this sad makes me sad.......

I figure if your relationship is strong enough you can get through anything - ok this is all taking time but at the end of the day the end result is that we will be with our OHs no matter what, no matter how long it takes if we want it enough :)
