Paraag.. I am gone from the list too...

In your "Here are the latest lists generated at 9/9/2007 9:36:34 PM" list, you can find me in CSC K3 pending... I am 55th I believe... tp and pk

"55 tp & pk K3 6/8/2007"

Unless I miss my own name in the latest list... may happen bcoz I have had a long day today and m really tired... if I am on the list then great. Please ignore my post.

If not then, Paraag or someone else, can you please look into this. BTW, I know u r in India right now and your fiancee's K1 just got approved barely hours ago... so no hurries, you can look into this when u get back or as time permits... Speaking of your fiancee's K1 approval, I already wished u in the official thread but once again CONGRATS and wish you both all the best for a great life together...

Appreciate all your help here on VJ. Any other comments or suggestions are welcome, if I missed anything in regards with the latest generated lists..

Hi pkewl,

You are not on the list because you have not updated your marriage date on the timeline. As far as I know, marriage is a requirement for K-3 visa. The reason I started filtering for marriage date is that some people have selected K-3 when they really are K-1, and so if I have any doubt, I leave them off the list.

Let me know if you think it makes sense to filter based on K-3s not specifying a marriage date.

The list is cool, but all I care about is seeing 90 days, after that the countdown begins. Any time before that, you aren't going to have to worry about an NOA2.

Thats a very interesting point. I can easily filter to show people who have waited at least 90 days. Is this something other people are interested in? That basically means you won't be on the list until 90 days after you sent your application.

It would definitely make the list shorter.

Hi bszoom,

To be honest with you, until you pointed out, I dint even know that there is a marriage date field in the timeline. Anyhow, I just updated my timeline to reflect my marriage date so hopefully I 'll back in the CSC K3 pending list the next time you update.

Thanks for all your time and help. Enjoy your trip. Have lotsa fun.

I think at the pace USCIS is approving petitions, 90 days should be the new starting time. It seems any time before this is not relevant. Just my opinion.

Oh it's ok - I check back regularly and I am sure I will get back on the list soon! Ok - bedtime now - cat is tearing up room and I have work tomorrow and it's already 12.30am... :/

Sorry Jeraly - I'll take a look to see what happened.

Ok, i figured it out. Because you have a marriage date set; I filtered you out of the K-1 list because I assumed your timeline was invalid.

I see that your marriage date is in the future, so I will put in something to ignore future marriage dates.

Sorry about that!

No worries - am glad to be back on the list - 265 - w00t!!!

I think it makes sense - like pkewl, people might not have noticed the marriage date option and this could skew the entires otherwise. If they are keeping track through this thread then they can alter that and get back on the list again :)

A shorter list, while nice, isn't necessarily realistic ;) I know it can be disheartening seeing how many people are on it but it's nice to see when you move about!!

In regards with your filtering query, I personally dont mind either way. In my case, it was lack of knowledge on my part that I dont know there is a marriage field in the timeline. But I was just wondering what if other VJ members miss it too. But, yes, if one reads the whole timeline page properly (unlike me :D ) then this filtering shouldn't be a big problem.

Hope this helps.

Hey Parag!!!

Thanks for thr updated list...we went from 66 to 12 on the list...Yahooooo!!!

Even though we are really in the same position as we were in yesterday it feels good having a little false hope  ...it's definately better than no hope.

The work that you've done for this thread is greatly appreciatd!!!

Scott

Good luck- should be close now

Thank you...I hope we are close...the wait doesn't get any easier in fact I think it gets more painful!!

I think it would be less painful to walk on a bed of hot coals. At least the pain would be over quickly, unlike this visa process. Hang in there Scott we will get there :thumbs:
