Waiting for a NOA2 from CSC for your I-129F?

I agree with Bill y Bella - there just has to be some way to see if these people are actually active or not. But you should definitely cut loose the people who are inactive.

You do an amazing job, btw!

And I want to know how someone who filed in late June was already processed and approved NOA2 when people from May and even earlier are still waiting. I mean, congrats and all to you, but that's not very comforting on how USCIS is operating things.

I'm in the same boat. It says on my NAO1 that they process K1's in the order that they are received. It seems discriminatory to process one visa ahead of another based upon the country that the beneficiary is native to.

Sometime in April: Mailed I129F to USCIS

5/31/2007 ~ NAO1 (online)

9/6/2007 ~ Touch (used RFE trick)

9/24/2007 ~ NAO2 (online and email)

9/25/2007 ~ Touch

9/27/2007 ~ NAO2 (hardcopy received)

10/22/2007 ~ Case received at NVC

10/24/2007 ~ Case forwarded to Japanese embassy!

11/2/2007 ~ Sayaka receives Packet 3!!!

12/3/2007 ~ Interview and approval

12/5/2007 ~ Visa came in the mail

1/12/2008 ~ Sayaka's flight arrives in the US!!!

I'm 99% sure that the 'person from late June' is darkhorse, who has elsewhere explained that he originally filed in March, and due to a USCIS error the processing didn't go ahead... he filed for expediting based on their error - one of the few criteria which they allow - and it was granted... not at all unfair, I'm sure you agree; if I found in early October after filing in July that I had to start again because of THEIR stuff-up I'd hardly be waiting patiently in a new line either ;)

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

I'm not exactly waiting "patiently" but waiting all the same......it's just so disheartening when you remember when you estimated date was exactly a month earlier than it is now. :crying: ach...we'll all make it in the end, this is just one of lifes rotten tomatoes that it occasionally tosses at us. You just need to wash off the yuck and get on.

now THAT is the best bloody news I've heard all day :D

far be it from ME to thumb my nose at the smug Vermontians, but I may allow myself a small satisfied smile that we were transferred to CSC after all ;)

It is extremely disheartening to see your adjudication time continue to move foward instead of backwards. The 90 days for approval timeline is out the window. It looks like it is more around 120 days and counting. The sad part is that most of us filed thinking that in 90 days we would be approved. I realize we are only talking about another 30 to 40 days but it is time away from our SO's we will never get back.

oh, but think about how we'll VALUE each other when we're finally together

I can't imagine taking being with my sweetie for granted, EVER, after this prolonged separation... I guess I may eventually get used to it, but I think it will take QUITE a while, and that's a gift some couples never have :)

it won't be forever... think about how, year after year, we're all amazed at how quickly the time has gone; 'wow, Christmas already?!' etc etc... well, this will go by too, and before you know it, we'll be lazing about with our new husbands/wives saying 'man, do you remember that whole stupid visa thing? doesn't it seem like a long time ago?' :);)
